Description

This is a photo I took about a year ago and never really felt it was finished. But, now its grown on me and is something I want to share.

I love the textures of the leaves in the foreground and the way they contrast with the waxy texture of the large leaves in the background.

Unfortunately the textures do not come out as well in the preview, so try looking at the full-size image if you can.

Nice black & white .... what light have you used ? A flash ?

Hi, the image was taken outside and edited to look like this. Surrounding plants and leaves were removed and levels adjusted to get the contrast 'right'.

Nice black and white...good lighting......Probably I would have concentrated on the left part of the picture.
